After taking into consideration the current situation with COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, we want to communicate well with you about Youth Camp for this summer. We are in direct communication with the Camp Table Rock Staff on a regular basis and are monitoring the situation as best we can acknowledging and weighing the risk factors according to the information that we have available to us. We are also in communication with Stretch Dean, our camp speaker, and he has confirmed his availability and assuring us by saying that “if you have camp, I will be there.” At this time, we are moving forward as planned with camp. Therefore, we ask you to abide by the current deadlines for turning in all payments and paperwork. Early registration is available until May 14th. Anything submitted electronically or postmarked after May 14th will be considered late and a late fee will be assessed. No camp forms will be accepted after May 31rst.
We will hold all payments and paperwork in a secure location until a final decision will be made on June 1rst which is three weeks from travel. At that time, should we not be clear to travel or it is not safe to do so, whether here in Illinois or there in Southwest Missouri, we will officially cancel camp. All paperwork and payments will be destroyed (or returned to you upon request). However, if at that time we are clear to travel, and things are deemed safe to do so, we will proceed with depositing the funds, submitting the paperwork, finalizing the buses for travel, and making final preparations, and having the best camp ever!!!
This is our current and best plan in this uncertain and fluid situation.
