Pastor Niki and Tim have accepted the assignment to restart the church at Oakwood. The church has been closed for 2 years while the daycare has continued to operate effectively, giving a glimpse of hope to the families of Oakwood. Niki began ministering the end of July and was installed as the pastor on October 25 at a service in Chrisman. She is ministering at the Daycare each week building relationships with the staff and students and parents. One of the first projects has been to make sure that every child has a Bible. In early November, they had a Friday night Fall Fest with 49 people coming to enjoy the evening. A few of the parents have expressed how excited they are to have a pastor around. Some are beginning to ask about when services will begin. Pray for this new work in the Oakwood area.
