Congratulations to Rev. James P. Blue and Chris Brownfield Blue as they retired today. Jim has pastored for 58 years, 52 on the Illinois district and the past 30 years at the Olivet Church of the Nazarene.
Thank you pastor Jim and Chris for your faithfulness to God and His Church. Thank you for the many years of servant hearts to serve congregations with love, grace and mercy. Thank you for the messages, the hospital calls, the baby dedications, the funeral services, the prayers for your congregation, and the many ways you demonstrated Christ-likeness to those around you. Thank you for your support and encouragement to the many ministries of the Illinois district.
The Blues are loved by all and we pray a prayer of blessing upon them as they continue to be faithful servants of Christ in this new chapter of their lives.
