The opening service of our district Adult “Reignite & Renew Retreat begins with circles of prayer. Come Holy Spirit come!
Saturday morning started out with a wonderful breakfast buffet and then a great time of praise and worship and a challenging message from Randy Munson – let’s splash with Jesus.
Saturday afternoon was picture perfect for fun and activities which included ‘card making’, beano, and a corn hole tournament with Randy Munson and Don Munson winning the doubles tournament and Don turned around and one the singles tournament.
Tonight’s (Saturday) message from Rev. Kim Smith was encouraging and challenging – with His help we can get up from the ‘pile of bricks.’
Finished the night around the campfire roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.
‘Reignite & Renew Retreat wrapped up our 2023 event this morning with our final service. Special Thanks to Jade Kravat and Chance Roberts for leading us in praise and worship all weekend. This morning, Becky Zachow Armstrong shared the message. A great reminder that God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
After the service, we had a group picture and then a delicious Sunday dinner – roast, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a full salad bar. Best camp food ever!
