It was a pleasure and honor to be with and meet our missions leaders across the 9 zones over the last 2 weeks. We had a total of over 500 attending all these rallies. A special thanks to each of the zone NMI reps and especially our District Deputation coordinator Debra Hancock for a job well done.

Oct 18 – Zone Mission Tour at Decatur West Side on Tuesday night. Always good to see Pastor Justin N Marina Neufeld, Pastor Mike Michael Taylor, Pastor Brian Hay, Pastor Christen Sanders and the wonderful folks from the churches of Clinton, Decatur First, Decatur Trinity, Decatur Oak Grove, Decatur West Side from the Decatur zone.
Oct 19 – Zone Mission Tour for the Illinois River zone – we appreciate folks from the churches – Pittsfield, Griggsville, Mt. Sterling, Beardstown, Bethel Community, Beardstown Libertad, Nebo Church of the Nazarene and Quincy Emmanuel. We loved seeing Pastor Mark Anthony Madigan, Pastor Darin Workman, Pastor Joe Thomas, Pastor Bob Willis.
Oct 20 – The Champaign zone met together tonight for the Zone Missionary Tour at Monticello. Appreciate Pastor David Hater, Pastor Danaka Fay Bulthuis, Pastor David J. Allison, Pastor Wade Stine and their congregations – Champaign First, Mansfield Community, Ogden, Rantoul and Monticello for participating.
Oct 21 – Tonight Becky and I traveled to Shelbyville for the Mattoon Zone mission rally. It was so good to see Pastor Joe Carter, Pastor Todd Holman, Pastor Waldo Perez, Pastor David Samayoa and Pastor Sonia Hidalgo, Pastor Mike Tapscott, Pastor Bud Hance and Pastor Bob Turner. These Pastors and members of the congregations from Tuscola Church of the Nazarene, Iglesia del Nazareno – Arcola, Pana, Effingham Hispanic, Mattoon East Side, Casey and Shelbyville.

Oct 23 – Sunday night zone Missionary service for the Springfield Zone at Auburn. It was great to see Pastor Roger Meridith, Pastor Steve Joan Gocking, Pastor Steve Foster, Pastor Russ Burch, Pastor Ben Alexander, and Pastor Ryan Crawley. Congregational participation from Sherman Church of the Nazarene, Virden, Flash Point, Taylorville, Springfield First, and Auburn. Special appreciation to the folks at Auburn for hosting the service and the fellowship following the service.
Oct 24 – Tonight was the Metro Missionary Zone Rally. It was great to see Pastor Rodney Durr, Pastor Greg Breeden, Pastor Bob Flint, Pastor Jay Shoff, Pastor Nicole Cotton. It was also great to see Associate Pastors – Pastor James Brunner, Pastor Beau Cotton, Pastor Daniel Mattison. The congregations of Belleville First, Belleville Emmanuel, Belleville Hispanic, Godfrey, Glenview, Fairview Heights Parkview and Roxana. Special Thanks to Belleville First for their wonderful hospitality.
Oct 26 – Pastor Robert Taylor, Pastor Jake Phillips, Pastor Dallas Robinson, Pastor Tim Mondy, Pastor Jeffrey Stark and the congregations of Mt. Erie, Centralia, Flora, Carmi, Olney, Fairfield Fountain of Life participated in a great zone Rally of children, teens and adults. The Olney Zone is a winner. Attendance was 101 (best so far) with loads of children and teens.
Oct 27 – Tonight’s zone Missionary rally at Carbondale New Beginnings with churches from Anna, Murphysboro, New Beginnings, Nuevos Comienzos, Royalton, Marion, Harrisburg Oasis, Benton and Mt Vernon present.

Tonight was the final service of the Fall 2022 district mission tour. The service was hosted by our friends at Paris First for the Olivet zone to get acquainted with NMI President, Dan Reinhart.
Appreciate the presence of Pastor Gary A. Williamson, Pastor Michael A Flowers, Pastor Cory Swinderman and Pastor James P. Blue. They each had great support from their congregations from Paris First, Georgetown, Olivet and Chrisman.
