The congregation at Mattoon Eastside is excited about their new pastor and family. Rev. Clifford ‘Bud’ and Sandy Hance will be moving to Mattoon the end of December to accept the responsibilities of shepherding and leading the folks of Eastside to be Christ-followers and disciple makers. The Hances are currently serving as pastor at Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Prior to his move to Kentucky in 2019, he served on the Illinois District at Oasis Community as the Worship Pastor, the Lead Pastor at Bethel Community, and in associate pastor roles in Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, Virginia, Northwestern Illinois and in Colorado. Sandy is a school teacher. They are graduates of Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, KS.
