Yesterday afternoon we wrapped up the 80th Illinois District Church of the Nazarene Assembly. Good things happened throughout the weekend. I gave my 4th report to the Assembly and Dr. David Busic preached 2 powerful messages. We also heard some exciting highlights from across the district with 16 of the pastors giving verbal reports this year.
This morning, Becky and I traveled to Monticello with Pastor Deb Braunig. It was a very good morning and we sure appreciated and enjoyed Pastor Deb’s message. Pray with me and the good people of Monticello seek for ways to bring young people into the fellowship and into God’s kingdom.
We left Monticello and traveled back to Decatur Oak Grove Church of the Nazarene to join with Pastor Lutz Braunig and his beautiful congregation. We appreciated his message and challenge. It was so exciting to hear of their plans to bless the 2 new babies in their congregation. Love to hear about children being born into the church.
