Sunday evening brought us to Mansfield Community Church of the Nazarene. We celebrated the heritage of this ministry which began in 1910 with General Superintendent, Phineas F. Bresee organizing the church with 10 charter members. Rev. Martha Howe was appointed the first pastor. Tonight was the closing service of the ministry of the Church of the Nazarene in Mansfield. The impact of 112 years of ministry will live on in the lives of people who were touched through the pastors and congregation down through the years. Former pastors, Rev. James P. Blue, Rev. Wayne Clevenger and Pastor Danaka Fay Bulthuis participated in the service. We are a addened by the loss but celebrating the impact. Special thanks to Lutz and Deb Braunig for their leading us in praise and worship.
