Journeyed to Clinton, Illinois to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Clinton First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Michael Taylor and Janet Taylor. The Taylor’s have been pastoring in Clinton for 10 years now. It was a privilege to meet two former pastors-Rev Harold Newby and Rev. Duane Schmidt and two former youth pastors – Rev Dirk Ellis and Rev. Tim Gates. Brother Tim brought an excellent message to the church celebrating the past but challenging the congregation to live for the future. I was also honored to present 2 Distinguished Service Awards to faithful and dedicated members of the church.
