Anita Breeden was elected to serve on the ONU Board of Trustees.
Laura Mondy has resigned from the position of District Treasurer and The District Advisory Board has elected Danielle Fields from our Decatur West Side Church of the Nazarene to serve in this role.
On Friday night, July 11, 2025, the District Assembly elected Rev. Jared Higginbotham, Rev. Mark Madigan, Rev. John Richardson, Rev. Robby Robinson, Jr., and Rev. Randy Wright to Elders Orders. We celebrate with these gentlemen and their spouses on the affirmation of the Church of God’s call in their lives to full-time vocational ministry.
Rev. Jason and Leslie Leib are our new pastor and spouse at Mt. Erie. They begin their new assignment on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Jason has been serving as an Associate Pastor at the Flora Church of the Nazarene.
Rev. Clemente Martinez has accepted the pastorate at Carbondale Nuevos Comienzos and will begin his assignment on July 27, 2025. We are praising God that He has provided pastoral leadership for this congregation in Carbondale, IL. They have been seeking God’s direction and provision for over a year.
