Opening rally of our spring Mission Tour with Fernando and Liliana Almeida at Mattoon East Side Nazarene. Awesome attendance and over $2100 in deputation offering. it was good to see Pastors Bud Hance, Brian Hancock, Josh Beeman, Ivan Jess, Waldemar Perez, Todd Holman, Wayne Clevenger, Andy Hensley, Robert Turner. Thank You East Central zone NMI coordinator, Teresa Reigel for her work; Pastor Bud and the congregation of Mattoon East Side for their hospitality and the worship team from Marshall.






The second night of the zone mission tour took us to Northeast Zone. Special thanks to the Georgetown, hosted by Pastor Michael A Flowers and the congregation. We had a strong turnout from the churches across the zone. It was good to see Pastors Gary Williamson, Cory Swinderman, Matthew Schutter, Niki Corey, Wade Stine, Ruth Bensyl, Tessa Stine, David Hater, David Allison, Deb Braunig, Lutz Braunig and Michael Flowers.


The third zone rally was on Thursday night with North Central zone at Decatur West Side Church of the Nazarene. Thank you to Pastor Brian Hay and congregation for hosting the service and leading us in worship. It was great to see Pastors Brian, Mike Taylor, Danaka Fay Bulthuis, Justin Neufeld, Roger Meridith, and Daniel Taylor and Rachel Burch and Debra Foster substituting for their husbands. ![]()





The fourth zone mission rally was at Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene. We were welcomed by Pastor Joe Thomas and the congregation. Thank you to NMI Zone Coordinator, Amber Freesmeyer for her work. And the Texas Trash and desserts were really good. It was the best crowd thus far. Churches represented were Bethel Community, Mt. Sterling, Griggsville, Nebo Church of the Nazarene, Pittsfield Church of the Nazarene, Quincy Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, and Beardstown. It was good to see Pastors Joe Thomas, Tim Cole, Jeanette Cole, Jerimy Wooley, Bob Willis, and Barbara Madigan representing her husband.
Monday’s rally is for the Metro zone and will be held at Collinsville New Community Church at 7:00 pm. Don’t forget that there is a drawing for a $100 camp scholarship to a student to go to Kids camp or Teen camp.





The 5th zone mission rally was for the Metro Zone. Thank you to Pastor Mark Czanderna and the folks of Collinsville New Community for hosting the service. Churches represented were Belleville Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, Belleville First Church of The Nazarene, Iglesia del Nazareno Hispana en Belleville, Glen Carbon Glenview Nazarene, Jerseyville New Life Church of the Nazarene, Roxana Church of The Nazarene, Collinsville New Community, Fairview Heights Parkview, and Granite City Iglesia del Nazareno. Appreciated the Pastors that were able to join us – Russell Brewer, Mark Czanderna, Jay Shoff, Sonia Hidalgo, Enrique Riofrio, Rodney Durr, Daniel Mattison, Luisa F. Mendoza.




Thank you Pastors Jim and Cindy Frye and the Murphysboro Church for hosting the Southern Zone Missionary Rally. We appreciate the work of coordinator Jackie Harris.
Churches represented were Anna First, Carbondale New Beginnings, Carbondale Neuvos Comienzos, Marion First, Harrisburg Oasis Community, Murphysboro and Royalton. Appreciate pastors Jim Frye, Cindy Frye, Brian Trambley, Gary Clark Bob Robert Flowers, Pam Pamela Jones Flowers , Larry Barnhart, and Christina Duermyer for being there to support.





Final service of our Spring Mission tour was not detoured by the weather. Thank you to Salem Grace Nazarene and Carol Ann Short for opening their doors and welcoming us. Churches represented were Salem Grace, Carmi, Flora, Mount Vernon Faith, Fairfield Fountain of Life, Mount Erie, and Centralia. It was good to see Pastors Clarence Cawvey, Tim Mondy, Dallas Robinson, Jake Phillips, and Robert Taylor.




Thanks to all who participated in this year’s spring rallies. We had over 700 in attendance from 56 churches. The Almeida’s were extremely pleased, reporting that this was the best deputation tour they have ever had in many different ways.
