The Illinois District has a rich history of bringing together laymen from across the district to participate in a week-end event that was called Lay Retreat. The committee has renamed the event to Adult “Reignite & Renew’ Retreat.
This year it takes place September 15 – 17, 2023. It will be held at the Pinecrest Camp & Conference Center outside of Fredericktown, MO. The campground is a wonderful place to get away from the world for a week-end and to open your heart and soul to the work of the Holy Spirit to Reignite and Renew your faith. The event will be September 15 – 17, 2023. The facilities are very pleasant and comfortable, the food is EXCELLENT and the fellowship is wonderful.
Dr. Mike Palmer is our speaker. Mike has served the Church of the Nazarene as a pastor, an evangelist and is currently the Missouri District Superintendent.
You will not be disappointed if you join other adults from the district for this week-end. Hope to see you there.
