

Been a busy week and did not take many pictures. Tuesday evening joined with Pastor Bob and Teresa Willis at Mount Sterling for the Illinois River Area Missionary rally with Missionaries Bruce and Cinda McKellips. Also helping us was Pastor BJ Thelander, Pittsfield and PastorJoe Thomas, Bethel Community.

Saturday participated with several district licensed ministers for our annual M.I.T. (Ministers In Training) event. Special thanks to the leadership of Pastor Rita Briggs. Then to Mattoon East Side Nazarene for a board meeting regarding their pastoral search and then to Clinton First Church of the Nazarene for the Decatur Area Missionary Rally. Excited to see Pastor Greg Wooten and Pastor Justin N Marina Neufeld with some from their congregation as well as some folk from Decatur First Church of the Nazarene and Clinton.



Sunday’s schedule included a worship service with the folk of Flora Church of the Nazarene and a meeting with their board. And then to complete the day with the Metro Area Missionary Rally at Roxana Church of the Nazarene. Special Thanks to Pastor Rodney Durr and Pastor Jeremy Martin and the congregation from Roxana. A great turn out of pastors and people with Pastor Jay Shoff, Fairview Heights Parkview Church of the Nazarene; Pastor Russell Brewer, Belleville Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene; Pastor Nicole Cotton, Belleville First Church of the Nazarene; Pastor Sonia Hidalgo Samayoa, Granite City Iglesia del Nazareno; Pastor Bob Flint, Glenview Nazarene; Pastor Greg Breeden, Godfrey Church of the Nazarene; and Missionary President Randy Marshall, Jerseyville New Life Church of the Nazarene.





Monday night Missionary Zone Rally for the Springfield Zone at Sherman Church of the Nazarene. Thank you to Pastor Roger Meridith and his congregation for their hospitality to welcome everyone. It was so good to see Pastor Steve Gocking from Virden; Pastor Ron Waltrip and Springfield Trinity; pastor Russ Burch and the people from Taylorville; and our district’s youngest Pastor Ryan Crawley from the oldest church on the district, Auburn. There was also representatives from Springfield First Church of The Nazarene. Tuesday night the service is at Mt. Erie and Wednesday night at Anna. We also appreciate our DIstrict NMI President, Sandy Stickler, for attending most of the 9 rallies.
