Rev. Rita Briggs has been around the Illinois District for a few years pastoring across the district. She is currently pastoring the congregation in Monticello and now adds to her charge the congregation at Decatur Oak Grove. The circuit begins Sunday, July 26, 2020. She will preach in Monticello at 9:30 a.m. in the morning and travel to Oak Grove for an 11:00 a.m. service. Both congregations have agreed to work with Pastor Rita to establish schedules that will allow her the opportunity to minister to both congregations. Pray for the Briggs and the churches as they adventure together into new territory.
