Tuesday morning marks the beginning of the second full day of Illinois District Children’s Camp!
Monday was a wonderful start as campers arrived, claimed their bunks, made new friends, and jumped into an exciting week together. The fun included dressing up their counselors, plenty of laughter, aDebbie Davis Brewerge from Anita Shotts as she challenged everyone to “Gear Up” by putting on the full armor of God.
A special thank you to Debbie Davis Brewer and Lori Workman for their outstanding leadership in organizing and coordinating this year’s camp at Passion Community Church. Your dedication is helping create an unforgettable week where children are growing in faith and building lasting friendships.

Special guest, ONU’s Toby the Tiger visited our chapel to help us learn about Olivet Nazarene University. A great way to start Thursday night session. Speaker, Anita Shotts, continues to be used by God to challenge our children to Gear Up with the Armor of God.
Final service of 2026 Children’s Camp. Continue to pray for these students as they go home and remember to get GEARED UP to live a life of Christ-likeness. Thank you Anita Shotts for speaking, Debbie Davis Brewer and Lori Workman for Co-directing, all counselors, and workers for sacrificing their week to invest in our children.
